Air Liquide: FY earnings up 9%
(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide has announced 2020 net income, group share that is up 8.
6% (+11.2% excluding FX factors) at 2.43 billion euros, meaning EPS of 5.16 euros, with a 120-bp improvement in its operating margin to 18.5%.
The industrial and healthcare gas group's revenue reached nearly 20.5 billion euros, down 6.5% as reported and virtually flat on a comparable basis (-1.3%), against a backdrop of the global health and economic crisis.
Air Liquide will propose a 1.9% increase in its dividend to 2.75 euros per share, as well as a new attribution of one bonus share for every 10 shares held. In 2021, the group is confident in its ability to further increase its operating margin.
