Air Liquide: completes divestment of Schulke
(CercleFinance.com) - As announced on 7 April, Air Liquide confirms that it has finalised the sale of its subsidiary schülke to the private equity firm EQT, for a total - subject to an earn-out clause - of between 925 million and 1 billion euros.
This decision is in line with Air Liquide's strategy of regularly reviewing its asset portfolio in order to focus on its core gas and healthcare activities, thereby maximising its performance.
Schülke develops, produces and distributes antiseptics for wound care, disinfectants, cosmetics and skin care products, and preservatives. It has over 1,250 employees and markets its products in more than 100 countries.
