Air Liquide: builds hydrogen refueling station

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide announces that it is building Europe's first high-pressure hydrogen refueling station.

Located at its site in Fos-sur-Mer, this high-capacity station will supply the first fleet of hydrogen-powered long-haul trucks.

The station will be commissioned in early 2022 and will provide up to 20 refuelings of long-distance low carbon hydrogen trucks per day. These trucks will have an autonomy of up to 800 km.

It will be built as part of the HyAMMED project, which brings together manufacturers, transporters and mass market retailers. It will be able to reduce CO2 emissions by over 1,500 tonnes per year.
