Air Liquide: H1 2019 operating margin improves
(CercleFinance.com) - The industrial gas group Air Liquide has published H1 2019 net income group share that is up 1.
8% at 1,059 million euros, or 2.48 euros per share, with an operating margin of 16.6%, up 70 basis points.
Revenues totaled 10,952 million euros, up 4.9% in comparable terms, boosted by strong growth in Gas & Services sales (+4.9%), while Engineering & Construction sales fell by 3.8%.
"Assuming a comparable environment, Air Liquide is confident in its ability to deliver net profit growth in 2019, at constant exchange rates," said group Chairman and CEO Benoît Potier.
