Air Liquide: reinforces presence in home healthcare in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide is strengthening its home healthcare business in Spain with the acquisition of the "startup" DiaLibre, which supports diabetic patients.
The terms of the deal were not specified.
"DiaLibre connects experts - doctors, nurses, dieticians, psychologists - with patients in order to offer improved daily support. During the first visit, the DiaLibre specialist initiates with the patient the treatment prescribed by the physician and defines the best tailored program to their lifestyle," Air Liquide said.
Novalab, another Spanish subsidiary of Air Liquide that is active in this field, has been operating in this country since 2016.
The French industrial and medical gases giant says that it "already provides home healthcare services for 1.6 million patients worldwide with chronic diseases and is developing new home healthcare models designed to improve their quality of life."
