Air Liquide: takes stake in Hydrogenics

6% stake in the Canadian company Hydrogenics Corporation. This company is specialised in electrolytic hydrogen production equipment and fuel cells.
This transaction represents an investment of 20.5 million dollars (18 million euros). It will enable the Group to confirm its long-term commitment in the hydrogen energy markets and its aim to be a major player in the supply of carbon-free hydrogen, management said.
Air Liquide and Hydrogenics have also entered into a technological and commercial agreement to jointly develop PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) electrolysis technologies.
