Air Liquide: develops production of biomethane
(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide has announced the commissioning, at the start of 2018, of three new biomethane production sites in the US, France and the UK.
The Group has doubled its production capacity of biomethane, which now reaches 60 MW, equivalent to a full production year of 500 GWh.
The Group currently operates 10 production plants in the world, which purify biogas to turn it into biomethane and inject it into the natural gas networks.
These three new biomethane plants that have been commissioned by Air Liquide are located in the United States (Walnut, Mississippi), France (Cestas, Bordeaux) and the United Kingdom (Northwick, near Birmingham).
