Air Liquide: annual net income up 19%

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide has announced 2017 net income (group share) of 2,200 million euros, up 19.
3%, with an operating margin of 16.5%, up 70 basis points relative to 2016, adjusted and excluding the impact of energy.

Revenues amounted to 20,349 million euros, up 12.2% as reported and up 2.9% like-for-like, with comparable sales growth accelerating in H2 and particularly Q4 (+4.5%).

The board of directors will propose the payment of a dividend of 2.65 euros per share, up 12.4%. On a comparable basis, for 2018 Air Liquide is confident that it will report growth in net income, at constant exchange rates and excluding extraordinary items in 2017.
