Air Liquide: new remote control center in Malaysia
(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide has announced the inauguration of a Smart Innovative Operations (SIO) Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, against an investment of 20 million euros.
In detail, this center enables the remote management of production for 18 Air Liquide Large Industries production units spanning eight countries across the region. The site uses "predictive analytics and digital technologies" to better anticipate customer needs for oxygen, nitrogen, argon or hydrogen: it will generate energy savings.
A similar center was opened in Shanghai last September for units operated by the group in China. The first center of its kind was launched in France a year ago.
