Air Liquide: inaugurates hydrogen station at Orly.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Air Liquide and ADP Group inaugurated the first public hydrogen station installed at an airport in France, on the platform of Paris-Orly.
Designed and installed by Air Liquide, with support from FCH JU, it supports the deployment of "Hype", the first fleet of hydrogen-fuelled taxis in the world.
Thanks to this new station that is located at a major airport, Air Liquide and the ADP group are contributing to the development of a network of hydrogen stations in the Paris region and the adoption of clean transport systems. The "Hype" fleet of hydrogen-powered Parisian taxis is the first fleet of hydrogen-powered taxis in the world, which was launched by the start-up STEP (Société du Taxi Électrique Parisien) at the end of 2015, in partnership with Air Liquide.
