Air Liquide: finalises sale of Air Liquide Welding.
(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide has announced its completion of the sale of its subsidiary Air Liquide Welding.
This company, which is specialised in manufacturing welding and cutting technologies, will be bought by Lincoln Electric Holdings, following the signature of an agreement announced on 27 April.
The transferred subsidiary has about 2,000 employees worldwide and generated a turnover of 350 million euros in 2016. It offers a wide range of equipment, consumables and services associated with companies operating in the sector.
Air Liquide adds that it is focusing on its gas and services businesses after the acquisition of the US group Airgas, as well as on the implementation of its NEOS program for companies over the period 2016-2020.
