JCDecaux: deploys new all-electric bikes in Luxembourg
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux announced on Friday that its Luxembourg subsidiary has successfully deployed 600 new vel'OH!, which ate self service bicycles for electrical assistance in free service, in Luxembourg city, over the night of 29-30 November.
"Working closely with the teams of Luxembourg, JCDecaux demonstrated its operational and logistical excellence by collecting the old stock of vel'OH! self-service bikes and replacing them with new ones in under six hours," JCDecaux said.
Another 300 power-assisted bicycles, provided for in the contract signed with Luxembourg city will be deployed by mid-December. The Vel'OH! service already has some 8,000 long-term subscribers.
