JCDecaux: progress in acquisition of APN Outdoor
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux has said that that the federal Court of Australia has issued a decision approving the dissemination of the information note to the shareholders on its acquisition of APN Outdoor Group Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement.
The implementation of the scheme of arrangement remains subject to the approval by APN Outdoor's shareholders and the satisfaction or waiver of certain other conditions precedent, including regulatory approvals in Australia and New Zealand and other customary conditions.
APN Outdoor's shareholders will decide on this at a meeting scheduled for 15 October. JCDecaux also announced that the Australian stockmarket authorities have recorded the applicable scheme of arrangement.
