JCDecaux: wins street furniture contract in Myanmar
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux has announced that FMIDecaux, its new joint venture with First Myanmar Investment (IMF), has won the exclusive 20-year contract for street furniture advertising in Yangon, the capital city of Myanmar, which has a population of over 5.

FMIDecaux, 60% of which is owned by the French outdoor advertising group and 40% by IMF, has been selected following a call to tender as the exclusive advertising group for bus shelters and urban furniture for Information (MUPI).
The first contract covers the design, installation, operation and maintenance of 500 new advertising screens on bus shelters and 500 MUPI. All current bus shelters will be replaced in the next 18 months and the new fittings will start in June 2018.
