JCDecaux: wins contract in Mexico
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux announced after trading on Wednesday that its Mexican subsidiary, JCDecaux Out Of Home Mexico, a joint venture with América Móvil, has been chosen for the design, conception, installation, management, maintenance and operation of advertising panels of the 125 bus shelters on line 7 of the Metrobus, high service bus system (BRT) of Mexico City (Mexico).
The global leader in outdoor advertising has designed and developed modular furniture that is adapted to the 125 stations that are currently being installed on the 2 sections of the line, from "Indios Verdes" until Santa Fe, passing via the famous Paseo de la Reforma.
With 100,000 passengers per day, the seventh line of the Metrobus will decongest traffic in the town centre and reduce travel time by up to 35%, thanks to the many connections that it will provide with other Metrobus lines and with the Metro.
