Ipsos: announces acquisition of Synthesio
(CercleFinance.com) - The group Ipsos announced on Tuesday evening that it has acquired Synthesio, for over 50 million dollars in cash.
"With this acquisition, Ipsos further reinforces its social media intelligence capabilities, enhancing customers' understanding of online conversations and enabling the transformation of social data into strategic business insights," Ipsos said.
Synthesio employs around 130 people worldwide, including a team of engineers and data scientists. The company will be an independent business line within Ipsos, and will keep its name and brand identity.
