Ipsos: finalises acquisition of 4 GFK divisions
(CercleFinance.com) - Ipsos announced on Wednesday evening that it has finalised the acquisition of GfK's four global divisions of personalised study solutions: "Customer Experience"; "Experience Innovation"; "Health" and "Public Affairs," for an enterprise value of 105 million euros.
The agreement with GfK was announced at the end of July. It was subject to different conditions, which have since been satisfied.
Thanks to this transaction, approximately 1,000 experienced managers and committed professionals will join Ipsos. Ipsos is delighted to welcome them in our group as soon as possible. This acquisition is part of the implementation of the plan “Total Understanding,” a growth project that closely matches clients' needs. This will make Ipsos a brand of excellence by providing companies and institutions with a better understanding of the Company, Markets and people, said Didier Truchot, Ipsos' chairman.
