Safran: major partnership with Aerion Supersonic
(CercleFinance.com) - Aerion Supersonic has announced the selection of Safran as strategic partner for its AS2 supersonic craft.
Aerion's AS2 is the very first supersonic business jet developed by private operators.
It is the first-ever supersonic craft capable of running on 100% synthetic fuel and the first to be designed without post combustion.
The 12 passenger business jet is scheduled to begin flight testing in 2024.
