Safran: Credit Suisse upgrades rating

(CercleFinance.com) - Although the share of the French aerospace equipment supplier Safran is close to a peak, this morning Credit Suisse has upgraded its "neutral" rating to "outperform".

Alongside this upgrade, the broker has raised its corresponding target price from 136 euros to 162 euros (upside of about 12%).

Analysts have once again raised their forecasts for the group after a trading update following its Q3 results, in particular due to the momentum of the new-generation LEAP reactor, whose market share with the Airbus A320neo could increase further. Credit Suisse also believes that, over the long term, the return to service of the Boeing 737 Max could benefit Safran.
