Safran: Oddo, while neutral, it hails rapid succession
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, an analyst at Oddo BHF confirmed his neutral rating on the Safran share, saying that Olivier Andries' appointment as CEO represented a succession under the sign of continuity.
This rapid decision-making means that Safran will be able to escape the period of uncertainty experienced by certain groups in succession phases and will refocus all employees' interest on operations in a crucial transition period CFM56-Leap (...) The transition period may appear to be a little long, at 14 months, against just 6 months at Airbus, for example, which could eventually lead to some tensions on strategic decisions between Andries and Peticolin, the broker says.
In the meantime, Oddo BHF confirms its target price of 147 euros for the share. It adds that its excellent quality remains, although that it considers that a number of factors are reducing visibility at present, it adds.
