Safran: renews collaboration with Bell
(CercleFinance.com) - Safran and Textron's Bell Helicopter have announced a new collaboration in the development of innovative electric hybrid propulsion systems for Bell's vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) vehicle.
"For several years, Safran innovation teams have been actively exploring the potential of hybrid solutions for future propulsion systems," the group said.
Via this collaboration, Bell will lead the design, development and production of the VTOL system, while Safran will bring its technical expertise in the development of a new generation propulsion system.
