Safran: develops plants in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Sichuan Services Aero Engine Maintenance Company (SSAMC), a joint venture between Air China and CFM International, has opened new facilities with a total surface area of 43,880 m2.
These facilities will increase the maintenance, repair and revision capacities of LEAP and CFM56 engines to 300 units a year.
With the expansion of its capacity, SSAMC will be able to provide Chinese and international clients with world-class MRO services, said Chai Weixi, Senior Vice President of Air China, and Chairman of SSAMC's Board of Directors.
