Safran: support agreement signed with Arkia.
(CercleFinance.com) - Safran has announced the signature between its joint venture CFM International and Arkia Israeli of a long-term support agreement for a fleet of advanced LEAP-1A engines which will power four Airbus A321neo aircraft.
This 15-year agreement represents 200 million dollars at list prices.
CFM will cover maintenance costs of one dollar per hour of flight. The engine order was announced last April, while the aircraft order was announced in July 2012.
