Baccarat: reduces net loss in H1.
(CercleFinance.com) - Baccarat has reported a H1 2017 net loss, group share of -1.
3 million euros, against -3.9 million euros a year earlier, with positive underlying operating profit for the first time since 2011 at 0.1 million euros.
Group sales came in at 68.5 million euros, up 5% relative to the same period in 2016 as reported, and up 3.6% at comparable exchange rates, particularly thanks to strong growth in the first quarter.
Baccarat points out that H2 should also see the arrival of Fortune Fountain Capital in its capital as of the end of the legal consultation process in France, as well as obtaining regulatory approvals in China.
