Boiron: plans to make 646 redundancies in France
(CercleFinance.com) - In response to numerous unjustified and repeated attacks against the effectiveness of homeopathy, Boiron has announced a restructuring plan in France.
This mainly concerns the shutdown of the Montrichard plant (near Tours), the closure of 12 preparation-distribution establishments (Avignon, Belfort, Brest, Grenoble, Limoges, Niort, Paris-Bois d'Arcy, Paris-Ivry, Pau, Rouen, Strasbourg and Toulon) out of 27, the rescaling of production and the preparation-distribution teams at remaining sites, along with the reorganisation of its commercial teams.
In all, this plan would result in 646 redundancies and the creation of 134 jobs.
