TF1: acquires broadcasting rights for UEFA Euro 2020 with M6
(CercleFinance.com) - TF1 and M6 announce the acquisition of the broadcasting rights for the forthcoming UEFA Euro 2020 football tournament, which will be held from 12 June to 12 July 2020, meaning that both media groups will share, on free-to-air channels, 23 top matches in the competition.
Specifically, TF1 or M6 will broadcast 12 pool matches, including the opening match, and games played by the French team. They will then broadcast five second round matches, three quarterfinals, semi-finals and the final.
This edition of the Euro will be played across Europe in 12 cities: Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome and St. Petersburg. The draw for the competition will take place on 30 November, broadcast on TMC and W9.
