TF1: to exclusively broadcast 2019 Rugby World Cup
(CercleFinance.com) - TF1 has announced that it will exclusively broadcast the entire 2019 Rugby World Cup in France, which will be held from 20 September to 6 November in Japan.
For the first time, just one media group will broadcast the competition in full on free-to-air television.
After the success of previous Rugby World Cups - especially the 2011 final between France and the All Blacks - with 17.8 million viewers and an audience share of 87%, TF1 will broadcast on its free-to-air channel, all 48 games of the tournament.
