TF1: exclusive unencrypted broadcaster of 2018 World Cup
(CercleFinance.com) - TF1 has announced the renewal of its partnership with the French national football team from September 2018 until the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
TF1 will be the sole official unencrypted broadcaster.
The TF1 Group is also strengthening its coverage of international football on its screens, broadcasting a new international competition created by UEFA - the Nations League - in addition to the Euro and the World Cup.
François Pellissier, Head of Sport at the TF1 group, said: “We are delighted with this new agreement, which not only secures our long-standing partnership with the French national football team for a further four years but also reflects our ambition to offer French viewers major exposure to the best of European football via coverage of the Nations League and the run-up to UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.”
