TF1: Thierry Thuillier appointed exec VP of news.
(CercleFinance.com) - At the end of trading on Thursday, via a press release, TF1 announced that Thierry Thuillier has been appointed Executive Vice President of the News Division for the TF1 Group as from 1 October, succeeding Catherine Nayl.
Thierry Thuillier's new responsibilities will be to define and implement TF1's and LCI's editorial policies for news on broadcast and digital media, “with the objective of maintaining the leader position of the newscasts and current-affairs programmes, as well as to continue developing LCI and the digital offer,” the group said.
In conjunction with the project team, he will also oversee the key restructuring plans that form “Info 2020.” This major transformation designed to achieve even greater editorial quality entails the evolution of the news offer on all media, as well as strengthened synergies with regard to production resources.
