XPO Logistics Europe: H1 sales down 9.2%
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday evening XPO Logistics Europe published a H1 2020 sales just shy of 2.
91 billion euros, down 9.2% year-on-year, a fall that is mainly due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Revenue of the Supply Chain Europe business unit slipped 2.7%, although sales of the Supply Chain US and Transport Solutions business units contracted by 13.2% and 16.3% respectively.
Malcolm Wilson, chief executive officer of XPO Logistics Europe, said, "Despite COVID-19 dominating the second quarter, business trends improved across our segments and countries as the months progressed".
