Hermès: full-year earnings down 9%

(CercleFinance.com) - Hermès has unveiled 2020 net income, group share group share that is down 9% at 1.
38 billion euros, with operating profit from ordinary activities of 31%, on sales of 6.39 billion euros, down 7% (-6% at constant exchange rates).

At its forthcoming AGM on 4 May, it will be proposed to set a dividend at 4.55 euros per share. The interim dividend of 1.50 euros, to be paid on 4 March 2021, will be deducted from the dividend to be decided by the AGM.

In the medium term, despite global economic, geopolitical and monetary uncertainties, the Parisian luxury goods house confirms a target of ambitious sales growth at constant exchange rates.

The market seemed to focus on this stance - the share is currently in pole position in Paris, up over 5% in early trading on Friday, in a pretty flat market.
