Atos: not proceeding with Onepoint's letter
(CercleFinance.com) - Following market rumours, Atos confirms that on Tuesday 27 September 2022 it received an unsolicited letter of intent from onepoint, associated with the Anglo-Saxon investment fund ICG, regarding a potential acquisition of the "Evidian" scope for an enterprise value of 4.
2 billion euros.
After careful consideration of this preliminary and non-binding expression of interest, and on the recommendation of its ad hoc committee, Atos' Board of Directors has met and unanimously determined that it is not in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders.
"The Board of Directors has therefore decided not to proceed".
