Atos: partnership with HDF Energy for 'green' hydrogen
(CercleFinance.com) - The IT group Atos and the hydrogen energy specialist HDF Energy have announced their intention to "develop a complete end-to-end long-term solution to supply datacenters with green hydrogen generated by renewable energy".
"The new solution by Atos and HDF will be the first available on the market for datacenters with heavy power consuming workloads", both companies emphasise, which aim to put into operation, as early as 2023, the first datacenter running on green hydrogen.
Atos will design and supply the hardware, software and integration services to exploit the electricity produced from green hydrogen, including artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to optimise consumption.
