Atos: participation in a planetary defense mission
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that a team of digital transformation experts from Atos Romania is participating in HERA, the first planetary defense mission of the European Space Agency (ESA), in collaboration with NASA.
This mission aims to determine whether the maneuver of deviating a dangerous asteroid from its collision path with Earth is the appropriate strategy to be deployed to prevent such a threat, and will launch a deviation test to find out.
Atos' multi-disciplinary team includes experts in the design, development, validation and integration of software and hardware solutions, particularly in the areas of radio frequencies and power circuits.
