Atos: official inauguration of CSC supercomputer
(CercleFinance.com) - This Wednesday, Atos officially inaugurated its BullSequana XH2000 supercomputer, dubbed Mahti, installed in August at the Finnish IT Center for Science (CSC).
Since it was installed, Mahti, the fastest computer in the Nordics, has been deployed by multiple researchers for varying research projects ranging from modelling the effect of climate change on ice sheets and sea levels in the Antarctic, using AI to simulate carbon nanotube growth, to reconstructing the Carrington geomagnetic space storm effect.
