Atos: completes private placement of Worldline shares
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos has announced that it has completed the sale of about 23.
9 million Worldline shares for approximately 1.5 billion euros, as part of a private investment with professional investors, through an accelerated bookbuilding process.
The price determined for the placement was set at 61.50 euros per share, with the settlement-delivery set to occur on 6 February. The proceeds will be allocated to the repayment of Atos' existing debt as well as its general needs.
As part of the full exchange of zero coupon bonds exchangeable into Worldline shares, with a nominal total of 500 million euros, issued by Atos in October 2019 and expiring in 2024, Atos will no longer hold any Worldline shares.
