Atos: renewable energy platform with Meteo-France
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos and Météo-France have signed a partnership to develop a platform for forecasting renewable electricity production for professionals in the sector.
"In the context of climate change, this new service inscribes itself in the frame of Europe's objective to have 32% of its energy coming from renewable sources by 2030," Atos said.
The platform developed by Atos and Météo-France enables producers and aggregators of renewable electricity to forecast the amount of "green" resources available.
"Atos has designed in collaboration with Météo-France, a service platform which uses Machine Learning algorithms to determine the most accurate forecasts possible, and with this it offers its customers a so-called "weather sensitivity" service."
