Atos: pens deal with Spanish airport operator AENA
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that it has signed a contract with the Spanish airport operator AENA.
The initial contract, which is for a period of 3 years, extendable by another 2 years, is worth 11.8 million euros.
This contract includes the design, development and integration of new applications based on innovative technologies - such as biometric recognition systems for passenger boarding or to control entry into restricted areas; Video and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Data Analysis, as well as the Internet of Things (IoT).
AENA manages 46 airports and 2 heliports in Spain and one in Luton, UK. The company participates directly and indirectly in the management of 16 other airports in Latin America. Over the last three years, more than 743 million passengers have passed through Spanish airports managed by AENA.
