Atos: lays first sto: lays first stone of its R&D Laboratory
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Atos announced the start to the construction of its new global Research & Development laboratory, at Les Clayes-sous-Bois, in the Yvelines department in the Paris region.
Atos says that the future laboratory of 8,000 m2 will be built on Atos' current Yvelines site and will offer a modern space that is dedicated to research in quantum computing, closely linked to the group's research programs in high-performance computing and cyber-security.
Installed on a site that has almost 1,000 employees, the future laboratory will host the company's R&D teams, i.e. about 350 engineers. It is scheduled to officially open in the summer of 2020.
