Atos: Syntel approves acquisition at EGM
(CercleFinance.com) - Meeting yesterday at an extraordinary general meeting, the shareholders of the American ESN Syntel approved their proposed acquisition by the French group Atos.
The deal is set to be concluded by mid-October 2018.
Announced on 22 July, this major transaction, which values the Syntel's capital at 3.4 billion dollars (at 41 dollars per Syntel share, i.e. a premium of 14% on the weighted average trading price over the last 30 trading days prior to the transaction), will increase Atos' revenues by around 1 billion dollars, "with an operating margin of around 24%," the French group said this summer.
