Atos: presents a new quantum simulator
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Atos unveiled the new version of its quantum simulator, the Atos Quantum Learning Machine (Atos QLM), which is even more powerful and scalable, with double power and the simulation of physical Qubits.
Designed by the IT group as part of its "Atos Quantum" program, the Atos Quantum Learning Machine is the first industrialised and ready-to-use quantum system that is capable of simulating up to 41 quantum bits (Qubits).
It enables researchers to perform quantum simulations directly in university laboratories, and to develop and validate their algorithms dedicated to future quantum accelerators that have real QPUs (Quantum Processor Units).
