(CercleFinance.com) - Atos has announced the creation of a multi-vendor alliance with Dell EMC, Intel, Juniper Networks, Red Hat and VMware, so as to accelerate the delivery of value through network functions virtualisation (NVF).
The group has created this alliance "to answer the business challenges that telecoms operators face today to migrate the telecoms networks from a traditional physical model to a modern virtual environment."
The alliance has developed an architecture based on ready-to-use commercial products that may be deployed as an NFV infrastructure and which will operate with the support of several NFV vendors to identify and optimise network and commercial performances.
