Sopra Steria: agrees takeover bid on Ordina
(CercleFinance.com) - Sopra Steria has announced a conditional agreement to launch a takeover bid for all of Ordina's shares at a price of E5.
75 each (excluding proposed dividend), representing a premium of 36% on its closing price on 14 March.
The combination creates a partner of choice in the IT consulting sector in the BeNeLux, Sopra Steria said, adding that the acquisition will expand its presence in geographical areas that it considers strategic.
Sopra Steria says that the transaction and its operational complements (estimated at E10m on an annualised basis) would result in an accretive effect of 1.2% on its EPS in 2024 and 3.7% the following year.
