Crédit Agricole: Underlying EPS down 13% in 2020

(CercleFinance.com) - French bank Crédit Agricole SA has reported FY 2020 underlying EPS that is down 13.
4% at 1.20 euro, with a cost of risk that slightly more than doubled its level of 2019, at 2.61 billion euros.

At 20.76 billion euros, underlying net banking income increased by 2.1%, thanks to significant growth in revenues from the large client segment (+10.7%), while, overall other business lines showed resilience.

The Board of Directors will propose a dividend of 80 cents per share out of 2020 earnings, with a scrip dividend option to offset part of the unpaid dividend on 2019 earnings.
