Credit Agricole: moves to buy back CIC business in Asia.
(CercleFinance.com) - Indosuez Wealth Management, Crédit Agricole Group's global wealth management brand, announces that it is in exclusive talks with Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC) with a view to acquiring its private banking business in Singapore and Hong Kong.
This acquisition would allow Indosuez Wealth Management to strengthen its ties with Asia and accelerate its development on key markets as part of the strategic priorities of its 'Shaping Indosuez 2020' project.
The transaction should be finalised by the end of the year, subject to the approval of the competent authorities and the standard procedure of consulting employee representative bodies in France.
