Nexans: suspends forecasts for 2020
(CercleFinance.com) - While the group says that it is too early to evaluate the impact that the current health crisis will have on financial results, Nexans has announced that it is suspending its 2020 forecasts announced on 20 February, until the economic situation resulting from the epidemic becomes clearer.
The cable manufacturer said that at this stage, several governments have taken (or are about to take) restrictive measures that could impact its logistics chain and production scedule.
In this context, its executive committee and management team are concentrating on protecting teams, continuing business and production, meeting customer commitments and maintaining financial liquidity.
