Bolloré: H1 net income up 54%

(CercleFinance.com) - Revenues reached 11,780 million euros in the first half of 2019, up 4% like-for-like (up 8% as reported).


In particular, the group benefited from growth at its communications business (up 7%), thanks to Vivendi benefiting from the strong growth of UMG (up 19%).

Adjusted operating income (EBITA) came in at 919 million euros, up 27% like-for-like and at constant exchange rates compared to the H1 2018 (up 31% as reported).

The group recorded a strong increase in EBITA in the communications sector (up 28%) thanks to UMG's strong performance.

Consolidated net income came in at 530 million euros, compared to 605 million euros in the first half of 2018. Net income, group share was 149 million euros, compared to 97 million euros in H1 2018 (up 54%).
