Bolloré: sells stake in Wifirst
(CercleFinance.com) - Bolloré group announces the signing of an agreement with Amundi Private Equity Funds (Amundi PEF), Bpifrance and Socadif Capital Investissement to sell its 55% stake in Wifirst.
Wifirst is a Web access provider specialised in Wi-Fi technology. The company has reported over 30% growth p.a. over the last ten years. In 10 years, Wifirst's revenues have been increased 20-fold and about 140 direct jobs have been created.
"It has become the first very high speed Wi-Fi platform, operating 600,000 secure, efficient connection points," the group said.
For Bolloré group, the sale of its stake in Wifirst will raise about 115 million euros in cash, generating a consolidated capital gain of around 85 million euros.
