Eurofins: acquisition of SunDream in Taiwan
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurofins Scientific announces the acquisition of SunDream Environmental Technical, Blue Formosa Environmental Technical and Universe Environmental Technology, three entities forming SunDream Group, the second largest environmental testing company in Taiwan.
With the addition of SunDream Group, Eurofins will become the number one player in environmental testing in Taiwan and will significantly expand its client portfolio in the country, the French bioanalytical services provider said.
SunDream Group operates laboratories in Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung, thereby providing the group full geographical coverage of Taiwan. According to Eurofins, the transaction would have an immediately accretive effect on its margin after completion.
