Eurofins: finalises acquisition of TestAmerica
(CercleFinance.com) - Following its announcement of 1 October, Eurofins Scientific has announced that it has finalised the acquisition of TestAmerica, a group of environmental testing laboratories in the United States, from JSTI Group.
TestAmerica operates an integrated network of 24 test labs and 40 service centers across the United States. It is expected to generate revenue of over 230 million dollars in 2018 and has more than 2,000 employees.
This 175 million dollar acquisition, made on a cash- and debt-free basis, is expected to significantly strengthen Eurofins' offer of environmental testing in the US, the world's largest market for this type of service.
